VUW Wellington Scottish Interest Group: The long arm of the Law – Scottish variety

Maybe not exactly the ‘arm’ but certainly the influence of Scots Law is seen in New Zealand. Dr Valerie Wallace, senior lecturer in the VUW School of History, will introduce us to the fascinating uniqueness of Scots Law, much of it coming from a base in Roman law, and the way the jurisdiction is set up.
