Scottish Pipe and Drum Band at Mayfield Garden

Australia’s most significant European-style garden will play host to the Governor Macquarie Memorial Pipe and Drum Band in a spectacular music event to be held at Mayfield Garden over the Labour Day long weekend. The Governor Macquarie Band will kick off a wonderful weekend of music at Mayfield with a performance at 11.00am on Saturday, 30 September. The band will march down Mayfield’s famous Allée before settling at a performance stage adjacent to the Obelisk Pond. The band will play the classic pipe band repertoire plus covers of rock songs and other popular pieces. Info: www.mayfieldgarden.com.au.
